How to Handle Packages, Returns, and Shipping Supplies at Home
Packages create clutter because they arrive unfinished: still boxed, still needing returns, still holding packing materials.
Process them in stages
- Open
- Remove trash immediately
- Decide keep, return, or recycle
Keep one return kit

- one mailer or spare box
- return labels or a document sleeve
Do not save every box
Keep only what supports likely returns in the near term.
